Merle’s Midwest Market Crumb Top Apple Pie Crust

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup uncooked regular oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients, add butter. Stir until blended.
  2. Measure 1 cup firmly packed mixture; set aside for pie topping.
  3. Press remaining mixture into bottom and up sides of a well-greased 9 inch pie plate.
  4. Pour Merle’s Midwest Apple Pie Filling into crust.
  5. Crumble reserved topping over filling.
  6. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
